About me
As a freelance, qualified conference interpreter and translator with a European Master’s in Conference Interpreting (member of AIIC, ASTTI, DÜV and Juslingua), I worked predominantly in Brussels and Strasbourg for the European Parliament until 2010.
Since 2010, I provide translation and interpreting services in Switzerland. My clients include various federal departments and offices, the European Court of Justice, the Federal Criminal Court, the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland, the judicial authorities in the Canton of Bern, NZZ newspaper, numerous private companies and some of the best-known Swiss film festivals.
I am also a certified court interpreter and a member of the Interpreting Commission of the Office of the Attorney General for the Canton of Bern, a lecturer at the court interpreting course in Berne and at the Master’s programme in Applied Linguistics at ZHAW in Winterthur. In addition, I have been a Consultant Interpreter with AIIC since summer 2023 and therefore accredited to advise you on the planning of your multilingual conferences and to provide you with interpreting teams for your event.
